Wing Ding, the universal, re-useable speaker rough in-bracket. Designed to be installed before drywall. Use with any recessed speaker brand, style or size. Wing Ding gives you a 4" hole marking where the speaker will go and allows you to see the wire and behind the wall after drywall is installed. When installing your speaker, cut through Wing Ding. It is designed to be cut easily, so don't worry. Wing Ding is designed to only work with recessed speakers that can be installed directly in drywall. Consult the speaker manufacturer for proper speaker installation.
